Saw this mold, and it intrigued me.

Any one ever try one of these beasts in a casull? Is it even feasible, or would there not be enough room left in the case for a decent powder charge once you got the bullet seated deep enough to rotate the cylinder. If it is possible, where would one go to find loading data for it? Newbie questions I'm sure, but saw the mold and it made me think.

that boolit would be longer than your case.
and if it's what i think it is.. [p/p for the 45-70] it'll be too small.
i have seen 45 colt revolvers have their cylinders enlarged for 45-70 cut down brass, and rebored/bbled to 458 but they mainly shot 350 gr boolits.

I also think that's too much bullet -- there is a point of diminishing returns. I've used 360s and 400s in my Casull, and the accuracy was better with the lighter bullet and the 400s didn't kill any better that I could tell.
