I noticed one of you mentioned Ted Williams in the Actors thread, and that got me to thinking..., not always all that good a thing....

Corky, I know pro ball players (the ones I talked to) don't think they are actors, but they really are movie stars, or at least TV stars. Reggie Jackson (number 44, Yankees, via the first Dirty Harry movie) was fully aware of that fact, and was one of the first to take his outward antics to the bank. ... felix
