Was given a single cavity, sprue plate screw buggered. I can fix the screw and the blocks don't look as if they have been used. I was able to cast a few, they look good. I know this # is discontinued. Can anyone recite experience with this design and down range results.
Thanks

Has nobody used this mold or boolits from one of these molds? Surely I don't have the only one.

I've got one, but I haven't used it much. Single cavity is too slow when I'm casting handgun boolits. Had to lap mine a little bit to get it to drop. Casts right at .359-.360 now at 173-174 gr out of ww. I have only shot it in 38 S&W, where it did just fine. Not any better or worse than other boolits I have shot. Haven't got around to shooting it in anything else yet. Billy

Mine drops easy at .3605 for the few I've tried, I'm thinking maybe a good plinking, small game bullet for 358 Winchester or 35 Whelen. I was using 50/50 ww/pb so I'd figure 175 gr. and sufficiently oversized to make it worth while.
