Rugar 77 44

Any one have a rugar 77 44 I would like to know more about this one.

My nephew picked up one for cheap, (rotten lil bugger). His has a terrible trigger that I plan on rectifying soon, but shoots well with J-word bullets. I haven't talked him into cast yet, but it will shoot sub 1" at 50 yds. for 5 with Speer 270 gr Gold Dots. I think it's a pretty neat little rifle.

I want one, im casting bullets now. I have a 44 red hawk, i like the 245 gr kieth mold. I wunder how the 77 44 would shoot those?

I am told that the new SS rifles are better than the older blue ones like I have. I still like mine and it shoots lead ok for me.

The magazine is SAMMI standard length, so you might have trouble with the Keith boolit in magnum cases.
