I have the 311041 group buy PB and a Lyman 311041 GC mould and am looking for opinions on these boolits in a 30.06 1903A3 w/H335 as I have a LOT of it.

First I have had excellent results w/a 152 gr NEI GC mold and 29.5 gr H335 in my M14 (legal semi-auto), but don't see much for the heavier bullet in the 30.06 section using H335, so I sez to myself, self, why not try 30 gr H335 in the 06 case w/each bullet and see what happens.

H335 seems to be somewhere betwen 3031 and the various 4895 powders so...

Any comments? Any experience? My alloy is water quenched WW sized 309.

Don,

Wait until you size larger than .309 and take off the training wheels. That's when you are going to see what you have.

That's going to excite you so much that you are going to get hold of a can of 4831 and start at 44 grains with a tuft of Dacron, then we will have a monster on our hands.

I may have read Seabreeze's post wrong. It appears he is looking for a load for a 1903A3 not his semi-auto rifle.

Yup. Looking for load thoughts for the Springfield w/H335 and cast. I have 31141 plain base and GC plus a 200 gr Lee and the 311284 which comes out about 220 w/my alloy.. The M14 load I have makes me happy.

:o)
