Price for linotype [Archive]

What is a good price for linotype. Found a place that is selling it for .84 a pound. THis is cheaper than Ebay when shipping is factored in. Is it a good deal and should I snag it or let it pass. I have about 5 lbs that was given to me but want some more.

Lino has been running about a buck a pound for years. With lead skyrocketing, I'd consider 84 cents a very decent price.

I just paid $86 for 100 lbs (shipping included). Lots of sellers on eBay with it.

Just picked up 70 lbs so I should be set for a while.
