Hi there everyone i have recently purchased a Lee 6-Cavity Bullet Mold 311-93-1R (311 Diameter) 93 Grain 1 Ogive Radius that i am casting with wheel wieghts and sizing them down to .309. The problem that i am having is finding any loads for this bullet weight for a 30 carbine. I am casting for a rifle and i have some hodgen h110.
I have the lee manual and have searched the net and have had no luck!

There is 100 gr data in most loading manuals it should be safe with a 93 gr bullet. I would start at the low end and work up until you found a load that shoots accurately and functions the rifle.

Ditto what Nick said. Generally, you won't get into trouble with a lighter boolit, and you can reduce charges accordingly.

H110 is not going to be a very good powder using the light weight PB'd cast bullet in the M1 Carbine. I would suggest you take a look a Unique or a powder in that burning range. You'll want to keep your velocity under 1600 fps for best accuracy. Also you may want to WQ the next batch you cast.

I use Blue Dot with this bullet. So far have not had the action cycle without the bore leading.

I think some more work with it and I can get it to cycle the action without leading the bore.

I think you may want to size these to .310" or larger if the chamber will accept the cartridge.
