Anybody got a good load using Reloder seven with a 311291 in a Mosin . I'm getting ready to launch and I'm leaning toward starting charges of twenty-two grains with the bullet seated to the neck/shoulder junction .
Your experience please .
Thanks , Jack

That should work nicely. I use 18-22 grains of Reloder 7 in a number of 30 cal loads with CBs of 165-200 grains.
I don't have the 311291, but have loaded something similar to 314299 in the Mosin and .303 Brit, and a 165-SIL in the K-31. Didn't see much difference in accuracy between 22 and 19 grains at 100 yds.

I got to the range with a few loads , twenty-two point nine was good enough to try again so I'll load a few more and see if I can do it again . Bullets are lubed with LBT blue which might explain why it liked the higher charge .
