on win.94AE. Looking at the various fiber optic sights.

How do i know which site i need? as far as dimensions? I know i have a standard 3/8" dove tail. The measurement from top of blade to top of barrel is .300".

Was looking at the Williams FireSights. Was hoping to find one with an orange fiber optic. May have to look at the HI-VIZ or others.

thanks

Front sights are measured from the base of the dovetail to the top of the sight blade. If you are replacing a bead front sight with a fiber optic, you should be fine with the same overall height. Going from a bead to a flat-top post, however, might take a little calculation. That is the flat top would be a shade shorter than the equal bead. Good Shooting, Ed

I had to replace the front sight on one of my antique 94's. The original sights were too hard to come by. Found an older lyman bead sight and it works great!
