Anyone ever order a custom mould from Mountain Moulds?
http://mountainmolds.com/
What was your experience like? Turnaround once placing an order? Quality?
Thanks

I have 3 of them .Very good quality. I have had them for several years. Back then turn around time wasn't bad, but like I said that was several years ago.

Great!!! Thanks for the replies guys.
I went and designed a 180gr .432 diameter wadcutter.
Hopefully I did good. It looked pretty to me when I got done. I'll have to see how it shoots when it gets here.
Thanks

I just looked at this H&G catalog...
http://hgmould.gunloads.com/HGcatalogs/HG_Catalog_1994.pdf
It should turn out looking like a 180gr version of a H&G #239. The nose being a bit shorter. Unless... I screwed up the design.

Turnaround was one month, about six months ago when I ordered mine. Quality was perfect.

I have never ordered one, but I have one. Bought it from a friend. He has ordered a number of molds from them.
He tries one, decides what he likes, and doesn't like, then sells it online and orders a new one with the tweaks for that he didn't like.
The one I have wouldn't feed well through his Delta Elite. It works fine for my Witness 10mm and is a great mold to cast from.
