Looks too challenging for my skills. No sticks? 1000 yards? You want me to get down, and then up again, on the ground?

I'll come and watch the rest of you though.

:bigsmyl2: Bullshop by the time you paid postage on all those sheets of OSB it'll probably be cheaper to hire a limo driver to bring you down.:holysheep

August there's no such critter as beyond someones shooting talent. The only limitation to someones shooting ability is themselves.
Any position also includes kneeling and sitting, and if you so desire offhand.

I have shot matches like this back in the 90s before I started silhouette shooting. They are fun and challenging. The ones I shot were either 10 or 15 shots for score and did not allow any coaching other than if you were missing high or low. I shot one match at 1200 yards and my long range sight on my Sharps Long Range Express 45-70 almost ran out of elevation and the butt was in a hole in the ground not on my shoulder when shooting prone. O yes they allowed slings but no artificial rests.

I need to find out when exactly Jim Terry's shoot is going to be, and the dates for Raton.Don't want to compete with another shoot, just want to add another shoot for folks to atttend.
But I'm thinking the 20th of August for this shoot.
It's open to all comers.
