w/w prices in Ca.

Had a steady sourse of w/w here until the 1st of Jan.
Went by yesterday to do a purchase.
Price went from $.25 a pound in December to $.75 a pound in Jan.
His answer," w/w are outlawed in Ca so make all you can while you can"
Walked away and will not go back.
Have another lead on a sourse and will check it out soon.

well sad thing is someone will buy them but it be nice if he gets stuck with them next time tell him you can buy lead WWs ingots online for 50 cents a lb. I have never had to buy lead until the last few years and was head strong about not starting until I just could not get enough to keep me shooting now iam stock pileing me some lead up. But last i got was 20 cent a lb.

I feel your pain. I have one place that I paid for the 1st 450#, then the guy started giving me 100# bucket for free. He started phasing out the lead ww back in June & the buckets have been more & more non lead since. I would think by next June, lead ww in Kalif. will be very, very tough to come by @ any price. Stack it high & deep, it's only going to get tougher.
