Its not practical or usefull, but what load in 45ACP makes the biggest and brightest muzzle flash. Also has anyone loaded 45ACP with ramshot Enforcer?

What length barrel do you have?

And why do you want a bunch of flash?

I've found that Power Pistol gives quite a bit of muzzle flash; it also burns very clean compared to some other powders.

Really just for fun, sort of like how some people like the big cloud of smoke with black powder.

+1 on Power Pistol, it certainly produces a large flash, but it also gives high velocities and as Tippet says, it does burn clean. It also gives great accuracy in my pistols. I have never considered the flash a positive feature.

Boolits from two group buy 44 Keith moulds (Mi-hec and MMA10mm) sized to .432 with LARS' 50/50 in 5.5 and 7.5 inch VAQUEROS in 44 magnum brass. 8.0 of POWER PISTOL seemed noticably louder than 7.0 of HP-38. Slightly smaller groups at 25 yards...or maybe a better than usual day LOL.

Just me or is there a difference in noise level? Brian Pearce promotes it a little in his HANDLOADER articles. It seems like good stuff and fairly economical to use for my mid range loads.

Not everything has to be practical or tactical, sometimes I just want to have fun. A heavy load of 296 in my 45 colt vaquero makes for a real good time and I really like the Lyman 12 GA slug with the max load of Blue dot. These are just fun to shoot, but not all the time of course.
