Hi folks,
I've been lurking around here for the past 6 months and decided that it's time to join. I've learned a great deal so far ... looks like a never-ending process.
I've been a bolt-gunner (.25-06) for the past 20 years or so, but have recently succumed to this lever-action sickness. I bought a Marlin 1895CB and need to start casting for it. I have most of the equipment I need and picked-up 3 buckets of WW before Christmas. I think one of the group-buys might be in my immediate future...
Sorry for going on-and-on ---

welcome robo:
I'm fairly new also. I can tell you that your in the right place to find the community, help, and support that we all need from time to time. You will find great folks and such a wealth of good information. Even though, like you I have been reloading and shooting a long time, I learn something new every time I log in. I caution you though, it is habit forming!

Thanks Ray,
I'm planning on smelting wheelweights this weekend. We're going to my mother-in-law's place for dinner tonight and I'm going to ask her to donate an old muffin pan for use as an ingot mould -- that should help re-inforce her opinion that there's truly something wrong with me....

Welcome Robo. Be careful with your first smelt. There are the dreaded zinc WW found in almost every bucket of WW now that can ruin your melt. Read the stickies on how to not contaminate your melt with zinc.
