These arrived in a box today from someone who offered them to me gratis (freebie). The maker was a professional machinist. The material is 1.5" thick x 2" wide. Blued steel.
The top is for the Swedish Mauser military barrel. The middle is for the Carl Gustaf m/80 target rifle. The bottom is for the Carl Gustaf m/63 target rifle. I'll probably bore one of them out to take bushings for 98 Mauser barrels. There's also a 1 lb can of powdered rosin and a little jar of barrel assembly paste from Brownell's.

Receiver wrench for the m/96 Swedish Mauser, and will fit all small ring actions I believe.

Everything is stamped with sizes, right & left, including shims between the blocks. This barrel vise is for the Swedish Mauser and was made primarily for m/1894 Swedish carbines but will fit all small ring Mausers. The length of the clamping surface is stamped on the vise in addition to the diameter.

I made this spider a couple days ago.
