CZ 527 Classic---

Anyone know what the difference between a CZ 527 Classic & the CZ
American are ?

The classic has a curved down European style stock w/ schabbel forend, while the American has straight stock and forend.

Used to be the American had a Birch stock. I am unsure of the current version.

I think it's the other way around. Use to be the Classic and now it's the American.

The CZ 527 Classic is a conventional American straight comb stock, floating barrel with special muzzle recess.

Their website say Turkish walnut for wood.

The European turn down buttstock is called the Lux.
