I'm thinkin about getting a New Vaquero in 45 Colt. Can someone tell me the max O.A.L. for its cylinder. Thanks.

Mine shoots 1.660" just fine. Probably will do longer, but never tried.

More than you needed to know:

Cylinder length is 1.612", figure for case rim+ clearance.

The longest I load is Lee 452-300-rfn crimped in the rear crimp groove. COAL is 1.640" for that one with at least another .025" to the end of the cylinder. I shoot a 340 grn boolit it it too, but that one's COAL is less due to crimp location.
