I picked up a medium size cement mixer yesterday.
Electric, thick metal drum, on wheels so easy to move around, best part was cheap.
I got it mainly because I have a slab to pour.
Thinking I'd use it and sell it after I'm done.
As I was cleaning it up I though of making something to hold a 5gal bucket in it.
This way I could use it to clean shells without all the mess.
Has anyone done something like this????

one of my wholesale customers runs FOUR cement mixers to polish brass...commercial reloader.

he burnt the import motors out fairly quickly and repaced them with us motors.

i still suggest timers...

I bought the smallest one offered by Harbor Freight on sale for $100. I haven't touched my vibrating cleaners since.

It's been well used, and dirty.
That's why I asked about rigging a 5gal bucket in it.
looks like it would be simple to make something to hold the bucket in the drum.
Have a lots of range pick-up.
Thought I'd use this to clean them up a little.

I use corn to clean and polish in the vibrator.
What would work better in the tumbler. Corn or walnut????

dont start that thread......
walnut for cleaning very DIRTY BRASS
corn cob for polishing.....i'm in the brass biz and have not used walnut since starting...only corn cob.
( yes i own some walniut...just no use for it as the corncob works so well)
