I have no idea what to say, or why I prefer rifles like that to the Uber Tactical Mega Crunchentickers.

I owned an original Volcanic pistol in 38 caliber for about 20 minutes about 40 years ago. I bought it an an estate auction in Portsmouth NH for $125.00 and a guy followed me home and after some negotiation I sold it to him for $2125.00 before I got in my door. It was brand new in the box. I bet he made money on that pistol if he kept it for a few years.

Nick, I would have done the same as you did. With BP the Volcanics were horribly underpowered. The originals were caseless and used a minnie type bullet filled with powder. Why they never went over.
