Riverside and the surrounding area to be exact. Are there any good gun shops in that area? I have to spend a little over a month there for training, I arrive on 3 Jan, and depart 5 Feb. Last time around, I was unprepared, so I spent most of my time near Joshua Tree, and a little bit of time at the beach. This time around, I am going to hit Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga, and may do a little fishing, we shall see. Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated, I will only have time on the weekends, but anything beats sitting in the Hotel room.

In San Berdoo there used to be a place called the hunters den or some such. Pretty decent place to shop. Get out the yellow pages and let your fingers do the walking etc.:cbpour:

Depends on what you want!
If you ever get to Temecula you might try Last Stand Gun Shop on Jefferson just offr of 79 south.

Also in Temecula, up on the north end of town (about 1.5 miles from the south end) is Faith Armory. Kind of off the beaten path. The folks there have been pretty good to me.

If your not afriad of a little driving try the Stockade in Westminister CA. Basically the 22 Freeway and Beach Blvd in Orange county.

This is the most well stocked gun shop in SoCal. However if your used to gun shops outside CA. I think your going to be disappointed in the one we have here!

Yea Boy, When I was a kid living down there I spent a lot of time in the Stockade. It was the cat's meow back then, had everything under the sun a reloader could want but I haven't been back in there for 30 years.
One day while hanging out in there, Jack Youngblood AKA: LA Rams, came in and we all had a great time talking with him. Great guy.
I'd check the place out unless somebody says differently.

Try www.turners.com for locations all around southern California. They have a location in Riverside/Corona and another north of that in San Bernadino. All types of guns and reloading supplies.

Good thread for me also, as when I go visit my stepmom in Riverside (and go by D'elias for a snack), now I know where to go!
