would love to have a 43 mauser

My grampa has a 43 mauser, and gosh, it's a fun gun to shoot. I cast for it, and would love to have one of them, the long barrelled one. It shoots an 11mm 370 grain bullet, and I'd like to ask if anyone here has heard of one for sale.

The last time I was in Simpson Collectable Firearms, in Galesberg IL, they had a 71/84 Mauser for sale. They have a small ad in shotgun news where they selll Schmidt Rubin K31's. I have always wanted one also but I was there to buy another K31 and also the price of the .43 mauser ($395 if I recall correctly) was a bit steep for me. You might try offering about 10% less than the asking price if you like to dicker on the price. I was there the the first week of this month.

FYI, SOG is currently out of the .43 Mauser rifles (might have some carbines) but they are taking back orders, and expect a new shipment.
