Hello all, Just registered today.
I've lurked and mined for info for a week or two and wanted to say Hi.
The info here is invaluable!!!

Been fighting with a Lee 6 cav .45 230g RN for months; cleaned it up, quick spin with lapping compound, loosen the sprue plate - good boolets !!!!! HOLY SNIT

I've been casting .45 200g swc & 250 swc, 9mm 125 rn, by the 1000's but that 230 rn was kicking my butt.

I even jumped on a group buy today - didn't realize how badly I needed one till I saw the drawing.

Been buying alloy from Rotometal, but I'm getting some range lead this weekend - smelting that should be an adventure !! (Prob. not too bad with the info I gleaned from others here).

Keep yer pot hot, and keep the info coming !!!

...........Gunslinger1911, I'll ditto the welcomes. This is for sure the time of the year to be hunkered over a nice roaring turkey fryer with a cast iron pot and 100 lbs of molten lead to render into ingots :-)
