This is not my favorite load or the most accurate. It is just some data I collected for a specific load.

454 Casull out of a Taurus Raging Bull. (Rear sight a little loose)

general load info.

Freedom Arms brass
Winchester small rifle primer (non-magnum)
Accurate 5744 powder
1.750 OAL
Lee 300 gr lead boolit with Hornady gas check, sized .0015 over bore diameter.
LS BAC lube, both grooves
Lee factory crimp die turned 3/4 from touching case

I tried 50 rounds with 1.9 cc's of powder (Lee dipper)
and 50 rounds with 1.6 cc of powder. The 1.6 was more accurate than the 1.9 cc's.

Picture below is with 1.6 cc's of 5744. all @ 25 yards. The target on left (white) is 2-5/8 outside to outside on the farthest holes. Center target is 3-7/8, and right (Black) target is 4-1/4.

Absolutely NO leading whatsoever. OK maybe two small flakes. There was a lot of unburnt powder all over my bench, and wax in the cylinder throat. I pan lubed and there was a lot of excess lube all over the boolit.
