Apex Smelting Co

I have a bar of alloy that is 4.5 Lbs., Its says 2 Apex 2, and 2nd line Smelting Co.
I have a press set up to do BH with a 200 Lb. die spring built into it. It will not dent the bar, but you can file it easy, It broken off a set of pigs as one end shows its very hard. Anyone know what it may be, or anything about Apex Smelting Company. Thanks- Joe

I have an ingot of the same Apex smelting #2, on my Cabine tester it comes out at around 95/96, is there a way to find out just what it is?

Take it the recycle yard and have them check ( shoot ) it with there electronic gun.
Thay will tell you the compleate makeup of it.
It does not cost anything here to have it tested.
