Hi All, Whats a good Lee Mold for a M1 carbine. The C-309-113-F or the C-309-120-R. I only shoot at paper at 100 Yards.. Thanks, Ron.

I use both the 309-113 and a 309-130 which is no longer available but is similar to the 120. Both are excellent but the 113 has a driving band that will cause a jam unless you size it down to .308 or use some steewool to round off the sharp leading edge of the band. The 120 may have the same problem but the 130 I have has more taper to the nose. both of these produce excellent results over about 12.8gr of Herc2400. I've gotten one hole groups at 25 yds with this load. I also use the lyman 311410 130gr but cant load it over about 1400fps without opening up the group. I've been striving to get a 1" 100yrd group with the GI sights but havn't made it.

Both of them will work well. The soupcan is a little more versatile as you can use it as a hunting boolit in other .30 cal cases.
