A neighbor and friend ....... we were one year apart in grades 2-12 has a "Russian".

I remember while in High School he'd told me he had it ...... and though we never hunted together and I never saw it ....... I remember thinking:

"Why would anyone want to own one of those"?????

Well the other day I remembered he had one and told him ............... "I" had gotten into the Russians and would like him to dig his out!

I am sure gonna be RED FACED if his looks as nice as the specimen above!!!

My five old beaters against his American made copy ...... :razz:

But if that's how it ends up ...... bully for him ..... he's a GOOD guy and I ought to eat CROW for looking down my nose for so many years without knowing which end was up!!!

I've seen a few very nice Russians in fine condition, as well as the everyday shooters and the beaters. I have NEVER seen an American made one.
