I love this press! I think my face will be on a missing poster because I am spending a lot of time making jackets right now. Here a video i made showing this fine piece of equipment.

Thats a heck of a setup. One observation, I think you will need to beef up your bench. Youre getting a good bit of flex even de-rimming the RF brass

Ammosmith,

Did Corbin tell you how hard an alloy that press will swage?

We have one DVD that is published and we are having the second one being fine tuned. I have spoken to Dave about this and we will see. I will be making a swaging DVD next year. here's a link to our first DVD production.

............Yup, I agree that your bench needs some help :-)

My bench's frame is 2x2 x 1/8" wall square steel tube with 2x2 x 1/8" angle on top and lag bolted into the studs in the wall behind it. On top of the frame are three 2x8's bolted to the cross braceing and the perimeter angle. On top of that is 2 layers of 3/4" 11 ply cabinet grade Birch, all glued together, so you're talking about 3" of wood :-) When I got the RCE Walnut Hill swaging press I put a 1'x1' x 1/2" steel plate (it's what I had available) on top of the bench all drilled and taped for the press to bolt to. It does not move!

My bench does need some help. It's made from maple. The press is mounted temporarily until the new studio is finished.
