The insert on my tracker model 647 4" 357 has dissapeared. Does anyone know of an aftermarket sight for this gun.

Why are you looking for an after-market replacement? Taurus carries a lifetime warranty. Call them and they may send it right out to you. If they don't, you could ship the Tracker to them, and they should replace the missing insert. While they occasionally get backed up, their warranty service is one of the best I have ever found.

By example, about a year ago a guy brought a Taurus 22 revolver to us for repair. He had bought the used firearm from a pawn shop and it would not fire or function. By a quick look both the transfer bar and hand (pawl) were missing. We called Taurus and asked if they had those parts, and if we could buy them. Their answer was "yes, and no". They advised that we ship the firearm to them. Off it went, back it came in 2 months, all parts in place, timing and function correct, they paid the shipping back to us, no cost for the repairs. Why not call them (305) 624-1115.

For one thing to send a gun back it would cost about 40.00 in freight and sometimes people just like to change stuff..
