The other unfinished stocks are for my 40-65 Maynard Farrow and a Hiwall I'll build someday. Life is too short to hunt with an ugly gun!

There are pics of the entire rifle a few posts back in this section. You will see a shiny Farrow action and that is what one of the other stocks is destined to be fitted to when I have time and energy. Labor of love is an understatement.......

Thank you for the kind comments. I gather good wood whenever it is available, and the coins are handy. It's getting harder and harded to find really nice wood that does't cost a ton of change. Have they quit making pretty trees?

They still make pretty trees, they're like deer though, they just don't let them grow up before someone kills them.

Is that a new Farrow, or original? I just got started with my Steve Earle Wesson Long Range project, but I would love to have a Farrow to go with it.
