Anyone have one?
A few years ago, like 2001 I think, there was a much editied filler article in Handloader about a guy who necked a 45 Colt to 41 and chambered it in a Blackhawk or Contender. Can't remember which.
Any one pick up on that and have one of their own made? Or am I the only one?

It's not one of the .41 GNR calibers is it? http://www.reedercustomguns.com/information/GNR_cartridges.htm

No experience with that, but isn't that close to being a 38-40 with a slightly larger bullet (.410 vs .401)?

Might explain why its not a popular or much heard about wildcat.

I have contemplated that case size several times. The best would be something like the Casull case with the small primer for better reduced load capability. ... felix

TheCasull case maybe the way to go. In my limited testing I have had velocities equal to a Dan Wesson 415 super mag. Problem is I am having troulbe telling were the top is pressure wise. I have not blown any primers and case setback is only slight when compared to the 357/44 B&D. Have one of those also and that put me on the path to the 41.
