Recently, I took possession of a matched set of two Hensley & Gibbs, 6 cavity molds with handles. These appeared to be in their original H&G white storage boxes and were wrapped in a Treated Non-Rust Paper. The boxes are, white, 4" x 3" x 15" and have the tang flaps that kind of lock the top closed.
The molds fit perfectly in these boxes.
Does anyone know where I can buy some more of these types of cardboard boxes? I would like to get my mold collection in order and this seems like a great way to store them neatly.
Also, where can one find the oil paper for sale?
The paper says... "NOX-RUST VAPOR WRAPPER" Type 1 CLass 3 MIL-P-3420E
Daubert Coated Products Inc. Westchester, IL Mfgd - Nov 1987
(Note: I looked up Daubert and found them on the web. I called them, they do sell
the treated paper but the smallest quantity sold is a 1,000 sheet box 12" x 12".
Perhaps this would be good for a group buy?!)
This is a tan colored treated paper and appears to have been with the molds
since made by Hensley & Gibbs.
Any help on getting a lead on boxes or this treated paper would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
