I'm curious as well. The big difference I notice is the Armalite is about 500 bux more.

Here is a link to a comparison of M4 style carbines:

Even though it's for 5.56mm weapons, it is reasonable to expect some correlation to a manufacturer's .308 rifles. In other words, you don't get exactly the same thing for a lower price. Will you notice the difference between them? It depends on how much and how hard you use the rifle.

i have two ar-10's an ar10(t) and a custom built br ar10. both are armalite. both are great. i know nothing of the dpms rifles, other than they were smart to use an existing mag for thier gun . hopefully it means no long drawn out r/d at the customers expense( armalite is on rev 3 or 4 of thier mags)

I have fired a couple of versions of the DPMS .308 rifles (DPMS is made here in MN). I was favorably impressed, the American Rifleman review was positive too. No experience with the Armalie AR-10 yet.

No experience with DPMS rifles but I do own an Armalite AR-10 rifle. If wont feed 168 grain HPBT's worth a damn but it will shoot them into tiny groups. Feeding problem goes away with 150 grain SPT's. Being left-handed, I would probably look at Stag Arm's AR's if I were in the market for that platform. Just my 2 cts.

Worth the wait.

If you need it now, go Armalite.
