13 is an unlucky number. You need to either get another one, or send one of those to me:smile: Very nice collection.

Very nice. I have only 2... buddy of mine has over 50. Buys his CMP limit every year and gets some at shows too... he says "Better than gold or stocks!" That's a nice nest egg there.

Envy, envy, envy. I can't decide if I feel admiration or unadultrated envy. Very nice!

Are you sure you don't need a son? I'm available:mrgreen:

You do know that our President believes in spreading it around. So if you send me a few I'd be more than happy to tell him that you're a good American. Kidding aside, beautiful collection. How do you decide which ones to shoot and which ones to leave home?

That is exactly what I keep telling the wife ... she leans towards letting one go and I lean towards getting the missing IHC!!

I feel so inadequate owning just one. However I am messing with the pp boolits and found them to be much fun. Low recoil, lessened muzzle blast and the empties just pile up in front of me about 3 feet away.

Cheap to shoot and easy to load for. Everybody wants to shoot it and women love it. Hits the gong at 300 yds pretty much every time you do your part. I bought a case of HXP greek surplus ammo one time more for the brass and that stuff is hot. I keep a few clips of that stuff in a bandolier for my bug out kit and that is a fine rifle.

That rifle to the right side with that tiger striped stock is certainly a looker!

My newest Garand, an IHC. Haven't shot it yet, I'm 18 months into my 3 year recreational shooting sabbatical.

'You pull back here on the bolt handle until it locks back. And when you want to close the bolt, simply push down right here on the follower with your thumb until ............:groner:.........you didn't let me finish, you have to hold back on the bolt lever with the side of your hand before letting it go!!! Now let's see what we can do for that mashed thumb!:bigsmyl2:
