I just got done lubing some boolits with alox. When I got done tumbling them in the butter dish I noticed that there was some water (not alot just damp) in the dish. I obviously I had not dried off the boolits completely after quenching them. I am not stressed about it . I just let them air dry. The water displaced some of the lube and left them with a very thin film of lube. Should I re-lube them?? Or is a really thin coat enough? I usually put a decent coat on them Fairly thick. Not greasy, just noticeable. Should I deviate and leave them thin coated, or reapply? Thanks.

I've read here (more than once) that if you can see the Alox, you've used too much. I now use one thinned coat and have no problems.

I would think they will be fine as is.

A THIN coat is all that is necessary. If it is obviously noticeable, it is probably too thick.
Alox can be cut with mineral spirits a good bit.
