I asked about 32acp,But checked the brass and it is 380acp! Sorry folks.
What can be done with these? Have no 380 pistol or rifle.

Its 374 at the base so I would think it should work for 375 bullets

Since keeping the brass is a crime, you need to re-form it to something else. A 380 is a very light .375 bullet...

Let's try this the other direction - what rifles DO you own? I guess handguns as well if that is still allowed down there.

I think I recall a nice .357 bullet was made from it.

You can make alot of money, stop throwing away good brass and use 9mm.

We all have to remember not all posters are in the US. Some of our fellow bretheren are not in places where laws allow what we can do here.

but I agree if one knew what you had to shoot or what one's mates have to shoot might help.

If 380 brass was as numerous as 45 or 9mm then I could see using it to make bullets, but as it has been hard to get of late I would, as sugested above, sell to someone who needs it and use 9mm brass for bulletmaking. Just my .0298

You can make .357 and 9mm bullets with it.

You can make 380 ammo out of it.

Bullshop.am not a pistol owner, nor do I own anything in 380 cal.and very few 380 owners.so it is illegal for me to have.dats our nsw gun laws. Have nearly 500 mt 40s&w brass too.Am making 444 marlin projectiles outa them.(310gns).
I can have ammo that fits a friends rifle that I borrow to go hunting,if my licence class allows me to.

Ok, no pistols - kinda figured that.

So, again what rifle calibers DO you own?

Sav300:

The .22 & .25 cals would be a lot of work. The 6.5mm almost as much.

The 30 cal, 7.5mm & 8mm stuff can be done in two draws with a reloading press. A full anneal to start, and possibly a second anneal depending on how hard you want the jackets. Bullet weights in the 130 to 150 grain range can be achieved.

The .357 is your best bet. I had a 357 on a martini that was a great gun with a case full of 2400... I seem to recall a long round was a close fit on feeding.

The .357 bullets require a full anneal to start. Then you just stuff them through a die with a generous lead - head first with a pin just like de-rimming a 22 rimfire. Make the die about .350 id, with a straight section about .200 long. Use a large radius for the throat, and lube the cases like you were sizing them in a steel die. Takes no more force than forming some wildcats, and can be done in a decent reloading press - I have done it in a Lee aluminum "C" press to prove a point.

A 380 makes a decent 150+ grain hunting bullet, especially in that little rifle.

If you anneal & reduce the cases they can no longer be used for a cartridge. That should render them to be just metal parts - at least in the US this would qualify as de-milled. I have no idea how unreasonable your "gun police" are of course.

The question of what can be made is too broad. I have drawn fired 40 S&W brass down to .308 jackets - not something you want to do with a loading press.

Do you have access to machine tools? the die is simple to make.

Gun police ? A cigarette lighter make from a fired projectile and fired case is illegal!Cause it looks like a cartridge. Plastic repilcates are illegal too.
bochia2xo.thanks for some good ideas. Now to clean out the shed and find the lathe and mill.

This is way outta my league, but would the case be long enough to use as a half jacket for a .375?
