Got a chance to fire a few of these yesterday PM Temp was just above 0º here in WY. To start from the Get -Go, I have been using Unsized 357 cases that will chamber in my R-Security Six. 1st & 2nd boolits are sized to .355, they pretty much drop down to case mouth level. Then the 3rd/last is .357. Takes a bit of effort to seat this one & I am doing a very slight roll crimp into the top grease grove. This leaves jsut a bit on the lead showing. Had to go that routr to get them to chamber in my gun. Powder was Unique, 3.5 & 3.8 grs. Firing distance was approx 10 & 15 paces. Range of spread was 1½'s to 5's. The smaller grps tended to have a figure 8 for two & the other 1+" away. This was the 3.5 load. The 3.8 & 15 paces load opens up more fm 2½" to 5" spread. Nothing really to base the grp size on as I only had 4-3.5 & 3-3.8 loads to fire. The primers showed nothing unusual, less then full 357 loads flattening . Recoil on both was ok like reg 38 or maybe a +P load. Would like to find a different powder then Unique, as it is doesn't meter very good thru the Lee cavity type measure that I am using. Think I will try to work up a load with Clays next. My2¢ Russ.

Boolits are dropping @ .360 & weight is 70/71 grs WW+Tin..

Thanks Russ. Has anyone else experimented with 2 or 3 of these in a 357 mag case? I'm very interested. Please share....
