Not AA3100, but plenty of surplus WC872 and WC860. Both are about as fast as chopped notebook paper. Either in full case loads will give excellent accuracy and velocity with jacketed slugs in the 6.5. A good cast load with either (and should work well with 3100 is about 34-36 grains. Again, not with 3100 but the 2 surplus numbers should give around 2,000 fps with cast in the 30'-06. Hopefully someone with direct 3100 experience will post.

I have been using Accurate Data86, which according to Accurate is just excess inventory 3100.

Seems pretty much interchangeable with H4831. 38-39 grains in 308 will cycle my FN FALs just fine with a 200 grain bullet, gives good accuracy.

elfego baca, The Accurate handbook says: 30-06 , 3100 acc, 150, 180 and 200 grs CB
Min. 47.7 and max. 53 grain. use a magnum primer.
I have used a lot of acc 8700 in my 30-06 with a good result.

Well, it ain't 30'06 and it ain't 6.5 x 55, but after over 250 rounds looking for the "right" load, the max listed load of AA3100 in my 300WM Browning A-Bolt is the Cats Pajamas!

I'd certainly suggest at least giving it a try. YMMV

Used it in .30-06 and .30-40. Good accuracy and velocity.
