I bagged a nice sized doe yesterday with Miha's 44/444 300 gr HP. Bullet was loaded over 18.0 gr WC820 and seated to the second crimp groove in my Ruger SBH. Deer was running at about 50 yards and the bullet impacted just behind the diaphram then traveled through the diaphram and exited through the off side ribs. Entrance hole was just about 44 caliber and exit hole about 3/4 inch. The damage in between was awsum. The diapram was completely destroyed and the lungs were pulverized into purple globs. The deer traveled about 40 yards before dropping but I think most of the distance was from momentum. I cast these bullets 50-50, WW to lead. Thanks Miha for a great bullet.
