I know 158 is pushing safe limits but what about the Lee .38 148 grain SWC sized to .358? I'm wanting a high subsonic 9mm load.

I would size it down to .355 or .356. OR, you could use Lee's new loaded round sizer die. Work the load up accordingly and watch for pressure signs. Same ol', same ol'.

Howdy,

We used get issued 147 grain subsonic (junk) all the time.

Only problem I see would be in trying to get the finished product to feed without having to shove so much of the boolit into that tiny 9mm brass cavity.
