I looking at using up some Herco I have laying around. I'll be shoot the LEE 180 GC and 170 Plain base through a 1903A3. Any help would be appreciated.

No rifle data for Herco but do have real experience with it in 357, 44, 45LC and 9mm. It can be position sensitive so I would only use it from a bench with a rifle, elevating after every shot. PM Felix if you don't get an answer as I learned that from one of his posts and found it to be true in the larger pistol cases with light loads.

I've not used it but the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook shows 13-16 grains of Herco
for your bullet weights and velocities around 14-1700 fps. Pressures are low, max around 38,000. HTH Regards, Woody
