Happy Thanksgiving! I am truely thankful for all the help and advice I've been given on this forum .I have a wonderful loving wife(despite having to put up with me) 3 great children ,a roof over my head and food on the table.Everything else is just extra's.


Have a safe and happy holiday,and I hope some of you actually put those lead smelting turkey friers to proper use.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Fired up the smoker, 3 chickens, one rosemary and lemon, two brined - first time I've brined anything. But the rosemary and lemon was the favorite. Had best friend's family over, son's in-laws. Ate most of the 3 birds. Talked reloading, guns, cars, no football!

This could be my last Thanksgiving with my Mom. At 93, she is still in charge of us, but I fear her boss won't take no for an answer.
This year there were 9 0f us and 11 friends around the table. It just doesn't get any better than this.
I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving as much as we did.

Good day! A lot of "bad" has happened to me over the last few years and I sometimes lose sight of just what I have to be thankful for.
Kid and I took dinner at a church in town with some "new" friends and a gal thats been a friend since school days. I new quite a few of the locals and had a good time. I burned up an hour shooting my BH in .357 with 13gr 2400 under the 358429. Man does this gun like these! @ 100 yds if the crosshairs are lined up when the trigger breaks it hits the mark. Fun to ring the 100 yard steel with a peestol. I "hoarded" primers, powder and lead and can shoot all I can stand.
Took supper with my youngest sister that lives on the other end of the farm. Grilled beef skirts, BBQ chicken, spanish rice, corn and home made ice cream!
Yep, God is good to me!
