From my experience with the Lee Production IV Pot they seem close. But you can't always count on that as I have seen different variables in the alloy temp depending on how low your pot gets and when adding sprues, rejects or more ingots. It is best to have a good thermometer. I wouldn't trust a chart like that for any casting furnace.

AR70 tells it true. Those temps are general at best. They might be 75 F cooler casting in my shop at 30 degrees than they are in AR70s Louisiana shop at 95 degrees. Add in wind, the particular pot and it's age...general at best. If you really want to know get a thermometer.

my little 10 lb pot will run 800 deg at the 4 setting with half a pot of lead. so I wouldn't go by that.

Frank, the chart seems fairly close to my pot but as suggested adding an ingot or putting back the sprues cools the pot down for a few minutes. Once my pot is up to temp. I leave it at about seven and a half.
