For a while now I've been tinkering with the idea of mounting a Lee Perfect Powder measure on my Lee classic turret press. Reason is, believe it or not, these powder dispensers, as cheap as they are, are more accurate and consistent as some of my other expensive chargers. It came to me Friday as I was fixing a leaky trans cooler line fitting on my old 64 Plymouth Fury. I went inside with a piece of scrap trans line with a flare on the end, rummaged though my reloading junk parts and came up with this. SUPER SIMPLE!! Click on photo to enlarge.

Text is a little difficult read, Lee parts list as follows;

Lee drop tube from a Universal Charging kit, component part # A01705 $2.00
Lee Auto disk riser # 90041 $9.98
Lee Universal charge though die body, component # A01656 $5.00

Tubing is 5/16 flared automotive transmission line.
Drop tube needs weld seam reamed out of inside with a 5/16 bit.
Cut trans line to drop powder inside of case.
Disk riser is a thread mismatch to the PPM body, but will thread on securely.

Text is a little difficult read...

Stuff with sharp edges like text or cartoon drawings comes out better if you save it as a .gif instead of a .jpg.

In this case though, you had a photo in there too...and .jpg is a good choice for photos, so it was a no win.

OK, thanx, filed that away in the ol' brain box.

Just click on the photo in the post, then click on the photo that comes up in a new window. When it opens up, click it again and it will zoom in. 3 clicks total for a screen sized view.

Using Firefox but should be same in IE.

thats a great idea,but I like mine better by putting an auto disc powder measure on and dumping powder automaticly.since I have a lee 1000 that uses the disc measure. or did I miss some thing.right now I am adding another measure to my 308 and 30/06 setup to load for two garands.one of each caliber.I have two more
lee turret presses.I have pacific and lyman and RCBS powder measures.
