Was just curious if i can use a 3-hole turret in a 4-hole turret press or visa versa

Here is the REAL skinny. There is a conversion kit changing the three holer to a four holer. Once converted you cannot use the three hole turret (unless you convert the press back).

The outside of the turrets are exactly the same. It is the advancing mechanism that is different.

By the way, I can recommend the conversion - it works perfectly well.

When I bought my Lee Classic Turret press, I already owned two of the older aluminum three hole turret presses. Since I already had 10 three hole turrets with dies mounted, I removed the top section from one of the three holers and installed it on the Classic Turret. It works great, and switching it back takes about two minutes.
