I been loading for years . Casting for several but if I am going to gas check for 30 cal and 8 mm what do I need// not sure about the info about them ruger44

If you have a lube-a-sizer you need 30 and 8mm gas checks.......nothin' to it,like kissin' your sister.[smilie=l:

di I need a sizing die ofr it ?? I do not hsve one I use lee alox for thoses

ruger44, Yes, you'll need sizing dies to install the gas checks and size the CB's, but don't rush to order them without slugging the bores of your rifles first. You'll then be in a better position to know what diameter sizing die to get. (You generally want to size .001" - .002" over the largest dimension of your slug.) If you wish to continue using Liquid Alox lube, look into Lee Precision's sizing die kits, but understand that you may need to lap one out to the dimension you need or have Lee custom-make one for you. If not, look for used lube-sizers (Lyman's #'s 45 or 450 or RCBS' Lub-A-Matic) and H & I /sizing dies on your favorite auction site. Btw, the Lee sizing dies, even custom-made ones, are a bargain in comparison to lube-sizing machines.

thanks i do have a Lyman sizer but I like thing simple and cheap
