Hi all. I figured I post this here since I'm sure there some 8mm shooters here. Anyway, I have a .325 wsm which is an 8mm, .323. I've just started casting and am thinking about getting a .323 mould and loading up some reduced rounds if possible for practice shooting. I currently load my hunting rounds. I've read that SR 4759 is good powder for reduced rifle loads. The case is the same as a 300wsm, just necked up to .323.

Any idea of what velocity I could load down to with say a 180gr 8mm boolit in this round? Any recommendations on a specific mould?

Or to put it another way. What's the max velocity I should try and stay under with a cast boolit? I have WW and some Linotype for alloy making.
