I bought a 6-cavity Lee 358-125-RF mold, expecting to get one with a big flat meplat and bevel base, and hoping I could get it to feed in pistols such as the Beretta 92SF, Browning High Power, P-38, and others I have that have .357" or .358" groove diameters. The picture on the side of the box and on the Midway website shows a big meplat and bevel base. What I got was a mold with a smaller meplat, longer nose and flat base.

I'm actually delighted. Has anyone tried these in autoloaders, and if so which ones?

NuJudge, try doing a search here, I am sure I have seen some posts about this slug working well in 9mm and the like. It seems to be just the right weight, and has a profile that generally feeds well for most guys.

I've found a post regarding either the new or old version, but only in the Springfield XD.

So far I have only used this bullet in 38 spl, 38S&W and 357 mag both revolvers and lever action rifles. It works well in all of them. After reading your post I sized up some to 356 and Loaded a box of 9mm. I have not had a chance to fire them but a dummy round fed fine in my Ruger P89, Browning HP and Norinco TT33 9mm. I want to put some down range before I can tell you if they shoot. I plan of trying them out this week end if it stops raining.

I've used this bullet in 9mm and in 38 super, it performs well. I had to adjust the length some to get it to chamber in the Browning. The 38 super load I use in an old Broomhandle chambered for it. Never had a feeding issue after adjusting length.

This feeds very well and is accurate sized .357 in my Millenium XD , and Ruger p85, and has gotten favorable reviews on other threads; I'm not sure why Lee didn't mention the change in design last year. Mine is not the one pictured (358-125-RF) on Lee's current web page, and in fact appears to me to be a much better design.
