New Caster, Saeco 69

I want to start casting for my .45 acp. I have loaded a bunch of store bought beveled base bullets. Is the flat base of the Saeco 69 any harder to start in the seating station? Do you have to bell the case more?

Welcome to the best forum on the web Michael.
There might be a little more effort with the flat base but I've never noticed it. The only reason to bell more would be to find the hole faster. You've already sized the brass and you want to make sure that it is not being shaved then a slight taper crimp finishes it off.
