Guys,
Forgive me if this has been posted. The Handloader issue #241, June '06 has an ad for a DVD of four casting books that I think are out of print. The Art of Bullet Casting, Bullet Making Annual #1 and #2 and Cast Bullet Special Edition are included for $25. The DVD is called the art Of Bullet Casting Collection. I saw on a thread not too long ago that someone was looking for one of these books and it was out of print and going for $50 plus on squeezebay.

I have the Bullet Making Annual vol. 1, 1990, and Handloaders Cast Bullet Special Edition 1992. I once borrowed the BMA vol 2 but naturally had to return it shortly thereafter, and at that time it was out of print and I could not obtain a copy.

Both books are excellent reads for the cast bullet shooter. Articles on heat treating, paper patching, controlling cast bullet weight, best bullets for the 45/70, special loads for the 30-30, and many others. One article in particular interested me about the Wilk gas check. A rather odd device, it is installed in the mold before casting the bullet.
I just might order the dvd in order to have BMA vol 2.

I was looking at a DVD from them (Handloader) that had like 4 old books out of print. One of 'em was "....The bullets flite...?" (memory...shesh). Looked pretty good also. Same price too I think.

I received my DVD today. They are scanned copies of the books in Pdf format. It also includes an Adobe reader. They are well done and easily read. Just like picking up the book and turning to the article you want to read. If you want copies of these books, they are well worth the $25 + $3.
