Hi All.

I have a Saeco No.451 4 cavity mold that came along with a bunch of other stuff. The current Saeco catalog doesn't show a No.451 and all of the similar 45 bullets shown all seem to have only 2 driving bands. This one has three and a plain base.

Measuring the cavity I get .451 at the base.

Anyone familiar with it?

Thanks, Dennis in Maine.

Oops, forgot to mention that the model number and all is stamped in the sprue plate and not on the mold itself.

They have the most aggravating site of any bullet maker. But I imagine that you'll have to call Redding and ask for any information that they can provide.

Great, nice to some company! Did you end up using yours? No 45s in my collection right now so I might end up trading it for something more useful. Might just be a good excuse to pick up a 45 though!

IMO, having a 4 cavity -460 clone is about good enough reason to get a .45. Well - actually - the main reason to buy a .45 is the .45 itself.
